In the beginning, they were just Matteo and Salvatore, two brothers from Calabria. They moved to Bologna to study economics, and – like all penniless students – ate a lot of pizza.

They wanted a pizza that was good, made and served with care. Without really knowing what they were getting themselves into, they opened their first Berberè Pizzeria in 2010 in Bologna.

Many years later along with their friend Emma (a co-founder of GAIL’s Bakery) they opened Radio Alice Pizzeria in Hoxton Square and Clapham and on July 10th, they opened Radio Alice in Canary Wharf at Jubilee Place.

Serving light, crispy organic sourdough pizza made with stoneground flour and topped with seasonal produce with the Summer menu featuring pizzas topped with Courgette, Feta, Fiordilatte Mozzarella and Pickled Onions or Speck, Gorgonzola, Fiordilatte Mozzarella, Honey and Walnuts, finishing off with their ‘Pizza Profiteroles’ filled with vanilla ice-cream and topped with organic chocolate hazelnut sauce and crunchy peanut butter.
